About a 40 minute drive from Smithys Cottage is the Crich Tramway Museum. We went with the MGB Register Club and had a great day out.
There’s a lot more to see there than just the massive workshops full of historic trams from all across the country. There is a pleasant walkway alongside the track with plenty of interesting sites enroute.
